Posting on the Crewride board...

Posts may be made for travel at any time in the future. However, a post that does not receive a reply for any 7 day period will be automatically removed from the board. Obsolete posts will be removed by the moderators when we can get to it!

Please begin your post with the date and time of travel as the subject, (i.e. 2/12/08 1400) to make it easy for others to sort through the posts. Also, please start a new thread (create a new thread by clicking on the "topic" or "new topic" button) every time you are offering or requesting transportation unless you are responding to a particular offer/request. It will be much easier for all participants to find potential carpoolers that way, instead of the various offers/requests being "buried" within threads.

Please indicate if you have a smoking preference.

Don't forget to include a method of contact (phone, email) or request a pm (private message) through this board.

Drivers please list make and model of your vehicle and the number of seats you have available. Include the rideshare cost if you wish. When your vehicle is full, please make a post under your thread to let others know you no longer have a ride available.

Riders may wish to indicate willingness to be flexible on a specific departure point and time, consider listing a limiting time constraint required to meet a work report time.

There are sample driver and rider posts within this forum to help you get started.

Participants are encouraged to use this resource in the spirit of which it was created: to help each other cope with the necessity of reporting for work duties far from our homes by sharing transportation costs and providing an alternate means to get to and from work when non-reving won't work. Please be kind and considerate to your fellow co-workers.

There are 5 style templates available that will change the appearance of the Crewride board.

To check them out, click on Profile above and scroll to the bottom of the page. The template selection is the 3rd item from the bottom. Choose another board style and click "Submit". You can easily switch between styles or return to the original style. If the template you select is different than the default CrewRide template, your preferred template will take effect after you log in.
