Nodes on a photoperiod plant show sex organs weeks before flowering starts, once the plant reaches its fourth or fifth internode. Females produce a pair of white pistils at the node, and the identification photographs on https://calmcbdseeds.com make the difference obvious next to a male pollen sac. Feminized packs still occasionally throw a male. Checking early gives you time to remove it before anything opens.
