| We've been going back and forth on whether to do our Palo Alto home all at once or tackle it room by room over a few years. Doing it all at once means one set of contractors and one disruption period, but it also means a much bigger bill upfront and committing to decisions I might regret later. Room by room is easier financially but I worry about living in a permanent construction zone for years. I want to visit this page to see how a full remodel is typically structured, but I'd rather hear from people who've done one or the other. Did you regret doing it all at once, or did the slower approach drive you mad? Also, is there a real cost difference between the two approaches once you factor in repeat mobilisation and rising material prices? |
