Gaps in Compliance
This year, regulatory demands intensified. Health care systems were subject to more stringent HIPAA audits, financial organizations were subject to PCI-DSS inspection, and universities were required to provide reports that complied with FERPA. RMMs that were unable to provide patch integrity or have audit-ready reporting put enterprises at risk of penalties and lost the trust of their clients.
Limitations of Scalability
Teams in charge of over 2,000 endpoints discovered that their legacy RMMs tools and professional services automation were failing. Slow dashboards, delayed updates, and abrupt crashes were frequent occurrences. With devices appearing and disappearing from networks across regions and time zones, hybrid workforces made the challenge even more difficult. Older tools were unable to scale gracefully.
Burnout among Technicians
Frustration was caused by physical Labor, unreliable agents, and poor user interface design. "Our turnover was directly tied to the fact that teachers hated the tools we gave them," an MSP leader informed us. When technicians mistrust automation, they double-check everything by hand, which causes attrition and burnout.
