If you're trying to stack caps in Fallout 76, the trick is keeping it steady, not sweaty. I like to start with a quick sell run before I get distracted by events, and I'll throw on Hard Bargain every single time. It's boring, but it works. I'll usually hit the Whitespring Mall because it's one stop, no wandering. And if you're the kind of player who'd rather skip some of the grind and just keep moving, you've probably seen folks mention U4GM when they talk about picking up game currency or items without spending your whole night staring at a vendor screen.

Set Up Your Daily Vendor Routine

The 1,400-cap vendor limit is easy money if you stop selling random junk and start selling the right weight-to-value stuff. Meat and chems add up fast, but the real "lazy profit" is purified water and cooked food you were going to ignore anyway. If you've got a CAMP near water, lean into it. Build multiple purifiers, grab the stack when you swing back home, and sell it off while you're already in the Mall. Also, don't forget your Charisma buffs. A quick Grape Mentats pop and you'll notice the difference right away.

West Tek Is Still the Workhorse

When I actually want to earn caps instead of just collecting them, I go to West Tek. It's not glamorous. It's just dependable. Super Mutants drop caps, ammo, and a pile of guns you can flip for vendor cash. The key is resisting the scrap habit. If you're chasing caps, those assault rifles are basically walking banknotes. Clear the outside, sweep the inside, waddle to the nearest station, sell, repeat. If the place feels picked clean or you want faster respawns, hop worlds and run it again.

Cap Stashes When You Want a Break

Some nights you don't want gunfire and reload spam. That's when I switch to cap stashes. Fortune Finder makes it way less annoying since you can hear the ping and stop wasting time. Run a simple loop through spots you know well, like around Poseidon Energy Plant and a couple Ash Heap locations if you don't mind the dim lighting. It's calmer, and it stacks up quietly. Do two or three circuits, toss in a world hop, and you'll be surprised how close you are to the vendor cap limit again.

Make Players Pay You While You Roam

Your vending machine is where the "real" caps show up, because it's other players funding you. Stock what people hate crafting: common ammo like .45 and 5.56, plus spare stims or plans you've already learned. Price it like you actually want it to move. One cap per round still sells, and it doesn't feel like you're scamming anyone. Keep checking your stash weight so you don't turn your CAMP into a landfill, and if you're trying to push your progress faster without turning the game into a second job, it's worth knowing options like Fallout 76 boosting exist alongside the usual grind routes.
