Coins in ARC Raiders aren't a trophy, they're your breathing room. You'll learn that fast the first time you stroll in with a shiny gun and walk out empty-handed five minutes later. Spend with a purpose, even when it feels "too early." If you're short on time and you just want a steadier start, some players even top up through U4GM to grab essentials and get back into raids without grinding the same loops all night. The point isn't flexing—it's staying alive long enough for the money to matter.

Start With Space, Not Toys

Your first real upgrade is stash expansion. Yeah, it's not exciting. But the inventory wall is brutal, and it sneaks up on you. When you've got no room, you end up selling meds, crafting parts, or a blueprint you'll regret dumping later, just to clear a slot for another run. Extra space lets you keep backup kits ready—one setup for drone-heavy PvE, another for when you know you're heading into a sweaty PvP route. It also means a big haul doesn't turn into a stressful sorting session. It turns into momentum.

Cheap Augments That Pay You Back

After storage, go see Lance and buy the basic Mk.1 augments: Combat, Looting, Tactical. They're affordable, and that's the whole reason they're so good. They don't vanish when you get unlucky, and they quietly stack value run after run. Combat helps you chew through ARC drones faster, which keeps fights shorter and safer. Looting gives you more ways to lock away high-value finds so you don't have to play "please don't die" the whole sprint to extraction. Mk.2 regen stuff can wait; early on you want reliable, always-on boosts.

Insurance and Consumables Are Your Safety Net

Pay the Clinic insurance. It feels like a tax, sure, but it's the closest thing this game has to a seatbelt. That fee is small compared to losing a full kit to a random squad that catches you at the worst moment. Same deal with consumables: carry Adrenaline Shots, carry Defibs, and actually use them. Don't be the teammate who "saved" 800 coins and then watched the whole run collapse. If you spot Raider Hatch Keys, buy them when you can—an uncontested exit is often worth more than another attachment.

Build the Workbench, Build Your Edge

Put your bigger money into Workbench upgrades, especially Gunsmith and the Utility Station. That's where you stop relying on vendor stock and start turning whatever you find into something lethal: better mags, suppressors, the kind of upgrades that change how fights play out. Base guns will drop everywhere, so don't drain your wallet chasing a "perfect" purchase. Skip the noob traps like random trader refreshes unless you're hunting one specific blueprint, and keep spending aimed at survival and efficiency—if you want a faster route into that stable endgame, some folks also look at ARC Raiders Accounts to jump in with a stronger baseline and spend more time raiding instead of rebuilding from scratch.
