Sylvio Mendes Campos Junior,known as Sylvinho (sometimes alternatively spelt as Silvinho) is a Brazilian left, either full back or wing back, born on April 12, 1974 in So Paulo.His profe sional career started back in 1994 in Corinthians,where Max Scherzer Jersey he stayed for five years.During that time he also earned call for Brazil national team and made his debut in 1997 against Ru sia.In 1999 he moved to English club Arsenal, where he played for two years, but in his second season at the club he was displaced by Ashley Cole. There he became an integral part of the team that in the 2003/04 season qualified for the Champions League for the first time in their history.In 2004, he was signed by FC Barcelona for a transfer fee of 2 million, where he won two domestic leagues in 2005 and 2006, as well as the 2006 Champions League.Although he is a Brazilian international who has won six caps for his country, Sylvinho has a Spanish pa sport, granted to him in 2004 after completing three years residency in Spain.
