J.Crew’s exclusive New Balance allocation for the upcoming warmer Northern Hemisphere months has been revealed. The partnership will be throwing a spotlight on the new balance 996 femme, which surely means it will be a big year of new dressings for this classy sneak. Sandy uppers with blue or yellow accents are up for grabs, or you can pick your fave colourway out of the Green/Grey/Orange number or the Red/Navy. It’s tight stuff.

The latest collection of Made in USA editions of New Balance silhouettes with a theme of American heritage is the “Mid-Century Modern” pack, which includes this ultra-premium edition of the 990. Inspired by the Mid-Century Modern interior design and architecture movement of the 1950’s and early ’60’s, the new balance 990 femme features a color palette referencing the hues used during that period, as well as a premium textile base matching the tan nubuck upper. Elsewhere, Horween leather is found applied to the heel tabs and “N” logos, and the signature chunky midsole with a Vibram outsole finishes them off.
