The name is derived from a Latin word used to describe something as liquid or fluid, which makes the ‘Indian Ink’ colour treatment all the more appropriate. The mid 90s runner has been given two colourways to start with, the dark blue Indian Ink and black. Both have simple colour blocked uppers, made up of alternating mesh and suede panels, and a midsole that wraps high around the heel for puma basket heart patent wit extra support. ASICS have carved out a rock solid release with their new GEL-Lyte III Marble Pack. The pack contains two colourways of the split-tongue runner, which have a generous application of marble effect across the upper. The ‘Kingfisher Blue’ colourway has a look reminiscent of the rippled surface of a swimming pool, while the black has a more sinister look to it. Both colourways have a contrasting mesh around puma basket heart wit the collar and beneath the laces, which has had the same marbled pattern woven in.The ASICS GEL-Lyte III Marble Pack is available right now at select ASICS stockists, including Hanon.
