Patriots top waiver-wire options after roster cutdown day

The spent Monday and Tuesday trimming their roster down from 90 players to the mandated 53 before the league's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday.Now, there are plenty of players from around the league who are looking for jobs, and considering the Patriots are third in the waiver order, they could add some young talent to their roster.Here are a few options New England should consider using a claim on after cutdown day:WR Terrace Marshall Jr.Marshall, 24, was a second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2021 out of LSU, where he won a National Championship and caught 106 pa ses for 1,594 yards and 23 touchdowns in 32 career games.However, with Carolina, he didn't make much of an impact. The 6-foot-2 wideout caught just 64 pa ses for 767 yards and one touchdown in 36 games Dewayne Dedmon Jersey .Still, New England could use the talent at the position.OL Ricky StrombergStromberg, 23, was a third-round pick of the Washington Commanders just last year after playing collegiately at Arkansas. In college, he received Second-team All-SEC honors in 2021 and First-team in 2022 and was named the conference's top blocker in his final season.He saw just 26 offensive snaps as a rookie (all at guard) and mi sed a good chunk of the year on injured reserve with a knee injury.Stromberg started his final three seasons at Arkansas at center, and with New England desperately needing depth behind David Andrews, he should get a call.OT Josh BallBall, 26, was a fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 after a college career split between Florida State, Butler Community College and Marshall.The 6-foot-8 tackle hasn't done much in the NFL, Isaiah Stewart Jersey in fact, he's only had 41 offensive snaps (40 at right tackle).
