Before fighting Breachstone bosses like Xesht, “We That Are One,” in Path of Exile 2, understanding their mechanics and preparation tips is crucial for success.

How to Access Breachstone Bosses

Collect 300 Breach Splinters from Breach encounters to form a Breachstone.

Place the Breachstone in the Realmgate next to The Ziggurat Refuge on the Atlas.

Enter the Twisted Domain and start the breach by touching the breach hand.

Defeat Breach monsters rapidly to keep the breach alive and expand the arena.

Fight Overview: Xesht, We That Are One

Xesht is the pinnacle Breach boss with challenging mechanics, including summoning hands called Tul and Esh with distinct elemental attacks.

Tul attacks with cold projectiles that can freeze you, which must be avoided or mitigated.

Esh emits lightning shockwaves that deal area damage.

Xesht uses chaos orbs and physical attacks, including a dangerous slam from a hovering hand that’s telegraphed by a shadow on the ground, which players should dodge.

In later phases, Xesht can summon both Tul and Esh simultaneously, increasing difficulty.

The boss has multiple levels of difficulty, scaling health and damage with higher tiers.

Combat Tips

Stay mobile and use movement skills to dodge in and out of attacks.

Avoid freezing effects from Tul’s icicles by maintaining distance or using freeze immunity/mitigation.

Use positioning to dodge the hand slam by spotting the shadow telegraph.

Prioritize killing summoned breach monsters quickly to maintain breach timers and prevent arena shrinkage.

Keep an eye on Clasped Hands; walking over them adds loot to your pool without interrupting combat.

Maintain survivability with high life, resistances, and chaos immunity or mitigation.

Rewards

Defeating Xesht grants Atlas passive points for the Breach tree, enhancing Breach difficulty and rewards.

Boss drops include high-tier unique items, catalysts, Breach Rings, and rare gear with item level 82+.

Higher difficulty fights yield better loot and additional passive points.

Prepare for Xesht by farming Breach splinters, optimizing build mobility and defenses, and learning to dodge mechanics like the hand slam and elemental blasts. Success hinges on quick monster kills, smart positioning, and sustained breach survival to reach this challenging but rewarding Breach boss fight in Path of Exile 2.
