Nemona-B2a makes Pawmot hit +80 into Active Pokemon ex in Paldean Wonders, turning quick Electric evolutions into clean one-hit KOs and a real threat to todays meta.

Paldean Wonders has made Pokémon TCG Pocket feel a lot chunkier lately. You queue up, and it's ex after ex with HP totals that laugh at your "normal" damage. If you're putting together an Electric list around the Pawmot line, Nemona (B2a 107) is the kind of card that changes the math in your favor fast. And if you're the type who likes smoothing out the grind—grabbing the resources you need without sweating every pull—sites like U4GM are often where players look for game currency and item support while they tune their builds.

What Nemona Actually Does in Real Games

The text is simple, but the feel of it is brutal. Play Nemona and, for that turn, your Pawmot's attacks slap an extra 80 damage onto the opponent's Active ex. That's the whole point: you're not trying to "trade well" over two turns, you're trying to erase their main threat right now. Pawmot tends to sit in that 120–160 range depending on your line and setup. Add +80 and suddenly a lot of the format's safe-looking ex boards aren't safe anymore. People bench-sit behind a bulky Active, expecting you to chip. Then you drop Nemona and the plan just… collapses.

Building the Pawmot Shell Without Getting Clunky

You can't just toss Nemona into any Electric pile and hope it's magic. The deck has to get Pawmot online quickly, and it has to do it consistently. Most players land on a 3-3 or 3-4 Pawmi-to-Pawmot line, because whiffing your attacker for a turn feels awful. Rare Candy is huge for tempo, since evolving "honestly" can be too slow when the meta is all pressure. Electric Generator helps you keep swinging without taking a nap mid-game. For Supporters, Nemona is the finisher button, but Arven is the glue that finds your key Items, and Iono is the reset switch when your hand gets weird or your opponent starts hoarding answers.

Timing Tricks and Matchups You'll Notice Right Away

The cleanest Nemona turns happen when you've already baited them into committing an ex to the Active spot. You bench your Pawmi early, develop like normal, and you don't announce the punch until it matters. A lot of opponents will play as if their ex can survive one hit, so they'll leave it in and try to set up a return KO. That's your window. It's extra nasty into things like Chien-Pao ex, where weakness pressure already forces awkward lines. If you're short on copies, remember Nemona is craftable—so you're not stuck praying to the pack gods forever, and you can plan your Pack Points around the deck's core.

Why It's Fun (and Still Competitive)

There's something satisfying about a deck that doesn't ask permission. Nemona fits the character vibe, sure, but more importantly it gives Pawmot a real identity: an anti-ex closer that punishes lazy sequencing. It won't single-handedly delete the meta, but it will steal games off "safe" boards and it'll do it often if you practice the setup. If you're hunting missing pieces or just want to compare versions players are running, checking a catalog like Pokemon TCG Pocket Cards can help you lock in the exact counts before you spend more points chasing the wrong stuff.
