May B1#268 is a cheap, smart pickup in Pokémon TCG Pocket, found in Mega Blaziken packs and perfect for evolving decks thanks to its handy draw-and-cycle effect.

If you've been opening Mega Rising packs for any length of time, you've probably noticed how much smoother an evolution deck feels once May B1#268 is in the list. She's not just a flashy pull from the Mega Blaziken side of the set. She's one of those Supporters that quietly fixes awkward hands and keeps your turns moving. A lot of players who track pack openings, card values, or even broader trading options on sites like U4GM tend to rate cards by rarity first, but May earns her place because of what she actually does in matches, especially if you're trying to set up Stage 1 and Stage 2 lines without stalling out.

Why May Feels So Good in Play

The effect looks a bit odd the first time you read it. You add two random Pokémon from your deck to your hand, then shuffle one Pokémon from your hand back into the deck for each card you took. On paper, that sounds like a wash. In practice, it's usually better than it reads. You get to turn a stuck hand into a live one. Extra Basics, duplicate early pieces, or a card you drew too soon can all go back. That matters a lot in decks that need specific evolution pieces at the right moment. You'll notice it pretty quickly in fire builds, but it's not limited to those. Any list that runs a proper evolution chain can get value from her.

Where to Pull Her and What to Skip

May B1#268 only comes from Mega Blaziken packs in the Mega Rising expansion, so if you're chasing her, that's where your hourglasses should go. Don't spread your pulls around and hope for the best. Focus on one target. From what most players have seen, she doesn't show up often in the earliest card slots, which makes single-card openings feel like a waste. Five-card boosters are the smarter route. You get more chances per pack, more overall value, and you build Pack Points at a much healthier pace. If you're trying to finish a playset without burning time, bulk opening is usually the better call.

Crafting and Event Farming

This is where May becomes really easy to recommend. She only costs 70 Pack Points to craft, which is cheap by Pocket standards. That low cost changes the whole chase. You don't need insane luck, and you don't need to sit on a mountain of resources either. Just keep opening Mega Rising and let the points build naturally. Event windows can help too. During expansion-themed events, mission rewards sometimes hand out useful Supporters directly, and Wonder Picks can occasionally tilt the odds in your favour. If you're patient, you can mix normal pack openings with event rewards and finish your copies without feeling like the game is draining you dry.

Best Way to Finish a Playset

If your goal is a full set for a Mega Blaziken ex list, the cleanest plan is simple: open Mega Blaziken packs first, craft the missing copies second, and use trading only when it genuinely saves resources. Since May is a 2-Star card with very low friction in the trading scene, she's much easier to move than many premium pulls. That gives budget players a bit of breathing room. You don't have to high-roll every session to get there. Most people can put together a full playset in a pretty reasonable number of packs, and if you're also checking community listings or browsing Pokemon TCG Pocket Accounts for broader collection-building ideas, it becomes even easier to map out what your deck still needs before wasting another round of pulls.
